Our Mission
At West Faversham Community Association (WFCA), we deliver targeted, evidence-based programmes that improve outcomes for children, young people, and families facing disadvantage.
Our work is rooted in the needs of the local community. We provide safe, inclusive spaces where people can access support, build confidence, develop skills, and improve their health and wellbeing.
We combine open-access community provision with structured programmes that support progression into education, employment, and independent living.
Each year, we support over 4,000 local residents, including more than 350 young people, through a wide range of activities designed to reduce inequality and create long-term positive change.
At West Faversham Community Association (WFCA), our work is guided by a clear theory of change: by providing safe, inclusive environments, meaningful opportunities, and targeted support, we enable individuals to build confidence, improve wellbeing, and achieve positive life outcomes.

Key groups
We work with a diverse range of individuals across West Faversham and the wider Swale area, with a particular focus on those facing barriers, disadvantage, or social isolation.
Our centre is open to all, however our priority groups include:

Children and families on low incomes, who benefit from affordable childcare, food provision, and inclusive activities

Young people at risk of disengagement, including those not thriving in mainstream education or at risk of becoming NEET

Young people at risk of criminality, supporting them in making stronger life choices and prepare for work, aware form crime.

Neurodiverse young people, who benefit from smaller, supportive, and flexible environments

Older adults experiencing isolation, supported through social and wellbeing activities
-
Individuals experiencing poor mental or physical health, who access our wellbeing and fitness programmes

LGBTQIA+ Community, with our youth action group leading in the delivery of a community PRIDE fun day, helping all of the community enjoy PRIDE, and show the LGBTQIA community, the wider community accept them.
We are committed to removing barriers to participation, ensuring our services are accessible, affordable, and inclusive for all.
