Community Support 

Within our team we have specialist staff able to support you with different moments of difficulty, find out more about how our team can support you getting on the right track.

Our Community timetable host a variety of different activities to suit all ages and abilities, whether you want a new hobby group ,youth activities or something for the family.

 

Messy Play : Parents and careers exploring real world learning with pre school children and learning about child development.

Little Scientist : Hands-on science sessions for children Year 3 and above, full of fun experiments, discovery, and learning. Parents can join in or stay in the building while children explore.

Toddler Sing & Story Time :  Inclusive sessions in a supportive SEN environment for toddlers to enjoy music, singing, and interactive stories, helping with communication, sensory engagement, and social development.

Parent & Toddler Crafts : Fun, hands-on craft sessions where toddlers and parents create, explore, and develop skills together. Parents can join in or supervise nearby.

Neurodiverse Youth Group : Support for parents/carers whilst young people with ADHD are given the opportunity to participate in activities. Parents can spend time with our support workers and other parents in the same situation while their children spend time with our youth work team.

LGBTQIA+ Youth Action Group :

SEND Sing &Story Time : Inclusive sessions in a supportive SEN environment for toddlers to enjoy music, singing, and interactive stories, helping with communication, sensory engagement, and social development.

Sensory room Session : A calming, inclusive session in our SEN room designed for children to explore sensory activities safely. Perfect for supporting development, relaxation, and engagement in a quiet, supportive environment.

Cooking with kids: Session with a youth worker , teaching the you and your children how to prepare dishes and then the young people can share what they have cooked with other people.

Young Youth Club : Games, activities, climbing wall, Wii, Xbox, Pizza, Music, Nerf Guns, pool, ping pong, socialising inside the main youth rooms.

Youth Club Inc Food

Youth Dinner : Drop-in support group,  that offer the young people the chance to meet up, chat, play games, use our Wi-Fi and computers, seek support from youth workers and have a free meal if required.

Lunch Club:  A 2 course home cooked meal by our chefs in our café for just £6.50.

Afternoon Bingo : Whether you're a seasoned bingo pro or you're just looking for a relaxing and entertaining way to spend your afternoon, everyone is welcome.

Sewing Club - by mothers of invention : Our friendly and creative sewing group for everyone from complete beginners to seasoned pros! If you love all things fabric and thread, or you're eager to learn, you'll find your creative home with us

Ukulele Group : where enthusiasts of all skill levels come together to share their love for the ukulele

Arts & Craft Group : A diverse group united by a passion for all forms of art and craft

Bowls : Bowls club in the hall, enjoying company whilst playing indoor bowls, every Monday and Thursday at 1pm. 

Table Tennis :  A session that is dedicated to playing or practicing the sport of table tennis for people who want to improve skills and enjoy the game.

Supported Gym :A opportunity to use our gym with support from our trained fitness instructors

Chair Based Fitness :  

Teen Gym :Opportunity for young people to train in the gym under the supervision of Fitness/Youth team.

16-18's Teen Gym : Opportunity for 16-18's who are wanting to train in the gym under the supervision of Fitness/Youth team.

Girls Only Teen Gym : Opportunity for Girl's who are wanting to train in the gym under the supervision of Fitness/Youth team.

Teen Girls Fitness Class :  This is a fitness class aimed at teen girs who are wanting to focus on one area.

Our team are able to provide free support to members of the  community to help them resolve a variety of issues such as; 

  • Understanding benefit forms 

  • Liaising with debt companies 

  • Consumer disputes 

  • Liaising with utility suppliers to resolve issues 

  • Assistance completing complicated forms

  • Volunteering
